Welcome to Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel. Take some time to wander the oldest streets in the city including the Arno River and the famous Ponte Vecchio, perhaps visit one of the incredible museums this city has to offer before starting your food journey tomorrow.

We suggest a small group tour to Chianti – a special region in Tuscany, blessed with a timeless landscape, excellent wine and lavish food (not included). Your pleasant drive through gently rolling hills brings you to Greve, a delightful borough known as the Gate of Chianti, where you will stop to explore their relaxed rhythm of life. Head to a local farmhouse where you will be shown around grapevines and cellars, followed by a tasting of delicious wines accompanied by local specialities. Continue on to Montefioralle, a charming town adorned by stone walls and climbing roses; enjoy a peaceful stroll along its windy, cobbled streets. Stop at Badia a Passignano, home to an historic Benedictine abbey, for beautiful views of Florence.

Breakfast. Begin your private full day journey in the Langhe del Barolo region. With your English-speaking driver, you will discover one of the prime wine regions of Italy: the Langhe, home to Nebbiolo grape, and to Barolo and Barbaresco wine. After some time at leisure in the quaint village of Barolo, step into a local winery for the first tasting, entirely dedicated to Barolo wine. From here, we proceed to La Morra, a delightful little hamlet offering narrow alleys and a terrace with breath-taking views. Stop at a winery set amidst vineyards, where you will visit the cellar and taste a selection of four wines, accompanied by cheese, cold cuts and local appetizers.
