Discover Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mar, beaches and a fortified church with the statue of St. Sara. Tour the provençal market of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, then Les Baux de Provence, a medieval village perched on a rocky spur in the heart of the Alpilles mountain range. Enjoy a walking tour of Arles in the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh. Finally, tour Mountain Sainte-Victoire, the source of inspiration for the famous painter CĂ©zanne. Visit two wineries and sample full-bodied red and subtle rosĂ©s from the region. After breakfast on your last day, transfer to the train station for your departure home. Â

Itinerary
Day 1 â Sunday
AIX EN PROVENCEARIÂ Â Private transfer from Aix-en-Provence TGV station to your hotel.
Day 2 â Monday
Breakfast AIX EN PROVENCE  Breakfast at the hotel 9:00 am: Meet the driver guide front the Apple store for a shared morning tour: Departure for a wine tour in the scenic landscape of Sainte-Victoire Mountain which was a source of inspiration for the famous painter CĂ©zanne from 1880 to 1883. The CĂŽtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire vineyards are located East from the city of Aix-en-Provence, and like all the vineyards in Provence, are considered to be some of the most natural in France due to the drying effects of the Mistral wind. The poor and shallow soils, formed by limestone and argillaceous sandstone, produce high-quality vineyards. Sample these tasty, full-bodied reds with excellent structure, and these subtle and elegant rosĂ©s. Wineâtastings included in 2 wine properties of the appellation.

Day 3 â Tuesday
BreakfastLUBERON VILLAGESÂ Â Breakfast at the hotel
9:00 am: Meet the driver guide front the Apple store for a shared full day tour: Discover an open-air market each day in a different village : in Gordes on Tuesdays, in Lourmarin on Fridays and in L'Isle sur la Sorgue on Sundays. As the markets take place in the morning only, the order of the visited sites will change accordingly. Drive along countryside roads at the foot of Luberon, and arrival in Isle-sur-Sorgue. Free time to discover the antiques shops along the canals of the « Venice of Comtat Venaissin ». Then visit the beautiful village of Fontaine de Vaucluse. Wander in the exceptional hilltop village of Gordes which ranks among the most beautiful villages in France. A photo stop at Senanque abbey will be included between mid-June and mid-July only, during the lavender blooming season, to take pictures of the lavender fields. Continue toward the colourful village of Roussillon and its ochre cliffs. On the way back, free time in the charming village of Lourmarin, famous for its Renaissance castle.

Day 4 â Wednesday
BreakfastCASSIS & CAMARGUEÂ Â Breakfast at the hotel
9:00 am: Meet the driver guide front the Apple store for a shared full day tour: Arrival in Saint Rémy de Provence : free time in the village. On Wednesdays, enjoy its open-air market, one of the most picturesque in Provence. Photo stop at the Antiques and St Paul de Mausole (Roman monuments and the mental hospital where Van Gogh was interned from 1889 to 1890). Continuation to the exceptional village Les Baux de Provence. From the Middle Ages, the village has kept the narrow streets, the imposing remains of a castle and the memory of the proud lords and troubadours. From the rocky spur, it's a breathtaking view on an exceptional scenery that amazes all the visitors. In Arles, discover the city by a leisure walk on the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh to discover the places where he created his most famous paintings dated back to 1888. Arles is also worldwide famous for its architectural heritage : the Roman amphitheatre and theatre, and the magnificent Romanesque Saint Trophime Church (entrance fee not included). The weekly market in Arles takes place on Saturdays, take the opportunity to taste and buy local products (fruits, cheese, nougat, tapenade...)

Day 5 â Thursday

9:00 am: Meet the driver guide front the Apple store for a morning tour: There are some places you canât help but fall in love at first sight, and Cassis is part of them ! Drive from Aix to the Cape Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe and enjoy the panoramic view on the bay. Spend some free time at leisure in the charming fishermen port. Board on a 45-minute boat trip (ticket not included) to discover the Calanques, limestone cliffs diving in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean sea and creating natural coves (big, rocky claws that resemble Norwegian fjords and poke out into the sea). In winter or when the Calanques cruise cannot be organized because of bad weather, a wine-tasting in a winery in Cassis will be offered. Note : We cannot be held responsible in the event that the Calanques cruise is cancelled due to bad weather or if the Crest road and the access to Cap Canaille are closed (no refund can be claimed). Drive through Arles, to the Regional Natural Park of Camargue where bulls and horses roam free in wide spaces. Arrival in Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the capital of Camargue, along the wild and picturesque Route de Cacharel. Visit the fortified church with its famous legend and free time in the village (possibility of swimming or sun-bathing) before going back to Aix-en-Provence. Optional activity (not included) : Bird sanctuary of Pont de Gau for a discovery, on foot, in between marshes and reeds of the main birds of Camargue (pink flamingos and other birds).
