Day 1
PORTO, PORTUGAL Arrival in Porto, one of the oldest European cities which lies along the Douro River. Transfer to your hotel. |

Breakfast PORTO After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic tour around Bairro da Sé. Visit the elegant Aliados Avenue, the city’s center, and the banks of the Douro River before journeying towards Vila Nova de Gaia. Wind down with some wine at Croft Port Caves, a famous Port wine cellar founded over three hundred years ago. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure.
Day 3
BreakfastPORTO Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Take the day at leisure exploring some of the city’s museums, parks and gardens. Spots to visit: Foz do Douro, Bolhão Market, rua Galeria de Paris.
Day 4
BreakfastPORTO – LISBON After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lisbon, Europe’s westernmost and sunniest capital, once home to some of the world’s most famous explorers. Transfer to hotel.
Day 5
BreakfastLISBON After breakfast, tour Lisbon. Discover the history and traditions of magnificent Jerónimo’s Monastery, the iconic Belem Tower, the Discoveries Monument, and the fairy-tale carriages at the Coaches Museum. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 6
BreakfastSINTRA, CASCAIS, ESTORIL After breakfast, explore Lisbon on your own. In the afternoon, tour romantic Sintra and the cosmopolitan bay of Cascais along the Estoril Coast, the Portuguese Riviera. Admire the incredible Boca do Inferno and the Casino Estoril Gardens, home to the largest casino in Europe. Return to Lisbon.
Day 7
BreakfastLISBON – MADRID, SPAIN After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Madrid, Spain’s lively capital city. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 8
Breakfast MADRID After breakfast, discover Madrid by sightseeing through the most popular avenues, streets and squares to admire Gran Via, Plaza de España, Calle Mayor and Cibeles Fountain. Visit the beautiful Royal Palace, built in the 18th century, one of the best preserved palaces in Europe. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure.
Day 9
BreakfastTOLEDO Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then begin your half-day tour to Toledo, which sits majestically above the Tagus River. Behind its walls, Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues. Admire the works of El Greco; see the Church of Santo Tomé, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, Santa María la Blanca Synagogue and more. Return to Madrid.
Day 10
BreakfastMADRID — BARCELONA After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Barcelona, one of the most vibrant cities in Spain. Relax and walk along La Rambla, the beautiful treelined pedestrian walkway, also the busiest and most lively street in the city.
Day 11
BARCELONA After breakfast, begin your half-day shared tour of Barcelona. Highlights include Plaça de Catalunya, Via Laietana, the Cathedral and its cloister, Gothic Quarter and Plaça Sant Jaume. Continue on to the Villa Olimpica and the Port Olympic. Ascend Montjüic Mountain for a panoramic view of the city and harbour, tour the Olympic Stadium, Palau Sant Jordi and Calatrava Tower. Taste Catalan Cava, the renowned local sparkling wine. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.
Day 12
BARCELONA Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure visiting local shops, cafés and parks in this beautiful city. Perhaps walk around the winding streets and hidden squares, fountains and palaces in the area of Cuitat Vella, the old city.
Day 13
BARCELONA — HOME After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight home.
