Anchored like a white ship on the shores of turquoise Lake Pehoé, explora® Patagonia’s unique location sets travelers literally in the middle of Torres del Paine National Park, while greeting them with award winning architecture. Our over 50 different guided hikes and horseback rides offer our travelers breathtaking views of glaciers, lakes and mountains.

The hotel has 49 rooms, with breathtaking views of the Paine Massif and the Salto Chico waterfall.

The hotel was conceived as a rest place, where you begin and end all of your explorations. Its 49 rooms were designed to take full advantage of the landscape’s silence, privacy, and vastness. They have views to the Paine Massif or the Salto Chico waterfall. explora Patagonia fosters meetings among travelers in its cozy common areas. The Ona Bathhouse, located 100 meters from the main building, is equipped with an indoor heated pool, a sauna, and four outdoor Jacuzzis with views to the Paine river.

At Torres del Paine National Park, be prepared to experience four seasons in a day. During the summer, temperatures can reach 24°C (75,2°F).

• explora® Patagonia is the only hotel that offers a luxury experience within Torres del Paine National Park.
• We have our own stables and horses, specially bred and trained to explore the park’s corners. 
• All of our horseback rides are led by a gaucho, a typical resident of te area and an excellent horseman. Gauchos share their knowledge and anecdotes of the ends of the earth with our travelers, thus fostering the encounter with Patagonia’s local culture.
• The barbeque area (Quincho) houses one of the most important gaucho traditions in Patagonia: gathering around a spit-lamb or a mate, a typical regional infusion.
• explora® has the concession of Lake Pehoé, as well as its own dock and a catamaran for 20 passengers. Depending on the weather, there are daily lake crossings.
• This is the perfect place to recharge your batteries after an exploration day. Other than the pool, the Jacuzzis, the sauna, and the steam bath, different types of massages can be booked.
