Arrival in Ponta Delgada Airport. Private transfer to your hotel in Furnas. This service ensures a seamless transition from air travel to the island’s lush, volcanic heart. Upon arrival, travelers can expect to be greeted by a dedicated driver, eliminating the stress of navigating unfamiliar roads or coordinating public transportation. The journey to Furnas, known for its geothermal activity and stunning natural beauty, becomes a relaxing introduction to the island’s unique landscape. This private transfer allows for a personalized experience, with local drivers who can provide insights into the area, making the trip both efficient and informative.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will go on a private full day Sete Cidades Tour: Grota do Inferno viewpoint with picnic & Gorreana tea plantation. The tour begins with a hike to Grota do Inferno viewpoint in Mata do Canario. Following this, the Vista do Rei viewpoint offers panoramic views of the Sete Cidades volcanic complex and its twin lakes. We will then visit Santiago’s lake within the crater. A stop in Sete Cidades town includes lunch at a regional restaurant. The journey continues to Ribeira Grande’s municipality, featuring the Gorreana tea plantation for tea tasting. Finally, the tour concludes at Santa Iria’s viewpoint, showcasing the north coast’s scenic beauty.

Day 3

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up from your hotel. You will then visit the local market for lunch ingredients. Travel to Furnas through the south side, stopping at Vila Franca do Campo for a comfort break, and if you want taste the famous pastry – Queijada da Vila. At Furnas lake, lunch preparation begins, followed by burying the cooking pot. A lakeside hike precedes a thermal bath at Parque Terra Nostra. After lunch, you will visit the Caldeiras where you can see the fumaroles and water spots, some of them are cold, others hot, however they have medicinal properties.

After breakfast, transfer to the Ponta Delgada Airport to board your flight to Terceira. Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a city tour in Angra, a UNESCO World Heritage city with over four centuries of history. Visitors encounter local stories, legends, and unique cultural traditions. Breakfast at the hotel. This day-long Terceira Island tour offers an immersive local experience. Begin with panoramic views from Monte Brasil and descend into the Algar do Carvao volcanic cave. Explore Praia da Vitoria’s charming streets and the historic Sao Sebastiao Church. Capture scenic vistas at the Serretinha Viewpoint. Conclude with insights into the island’s winemaking tradition at the Wine Museum. The tour blends natural wonders with cultural and historical exploration.

Breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a geological Terceira Island tour, exploring its volcanic heart. Witness ancient craters, sulfur pits, and the unique Algar do Carvao. Descend into its cool caverns and crawl through the Gruta do Natal lava tunnel. Observe the dramatic Furnas do Enxofre’s plumes of smoke. The tour offers a direct experience of the island’s raw, fiery power and geological history.
